RULES Tyrol Trophy 2009
1. For 2009, the three organizers
of Tyrolean cross country race are once again proposing 2 combined
classification events (Classic and Skating).
2. All cross-country skiers who
have successfully completed the 3 races for each style are automatically
qualified to enter. No separate subscription is required in order to
participate in the combined Tyrol Trophy.
3. The two combined events are:
a) Tyrol Trophy CLASSIC
• SKI-TRAIL - AUT, 24.01.2009 . . .

4. Final placing will be determined by the sum of individual times
achieved in the three races
The reference times used for awarding the “Tyrolean Eagle” medals
will be the total of the three top times, with separate awards for
male and female categories.
• If your total time is no more than
20% above the reference time, you will be awarded the “Tyrolean
Eagle” gold medal.
• If your total time is between 21%
and 50% above the reference time, you will be awarded the
“Tyrolean Eagle” silver medal.
• All other participants will be
awarded the “Tyrolean Eagle” bronze medal.
6. The prize-giving ceremony for
all participants considered for the TIROL TROPHY will take place on the
occasion of the awards ceremony for the last run (Tyrol Trophy CLASSIC
on 14.02.08, Tyrol Trophy SKATING on 15.02.08).
All participants will receive the “Tyrolean Eagle” medal, together with
the diploma and TYROL TROPHY placing.
7. If one race is cancelled due
to bad weather, the two other races shall constitute a complete race. If
two races are cancelled, there will be no TYROL TROPHY placings. |
